Plan where the pallets go and see every axle group against the legal limit, or work out how far to slide the trailer axles when you're over at the weighbridge.
Rules checked 30 Sept 2026 against NHVR general mass limits information sheet (1 Aug 2026), Mass, Dimension and Loading National Regulation (in force) and 23 CFR 658.17 (US Federal Bridge Formula). Official pages are watched weekly for changes.

Spacings measured from the vehicle geometry (steer = 0; twinsteer from its group centre — conservative). Limit = MDL Table 2 value + steer adjustment + 1 t / 2 t allowance; applies to the combined mass of both end groups and everything between.
